(Written by Conor Lewis and Conor Donohue, 5th class)
Last Saturday, 8th December, Thomastown and Ballyhale played in the Roinn A final. There was great skill and determination showed by both teams following a great game of Gaelic football. But only one team could win and to our delight it was Thomastown.
After the game there was a great roar when Joseph Conlon (Captain) lifted the cup and became Roinn A champions for the second year in a row. With scores from Colm Whelan, Stevie Donnelly, Jack Holden, Jack Barcoe and Dermot G.
Final score 2-15 to 0-3!
Thank you to Mr. Delahunty and Mr. Roberts for their continued hard work and support.
