The Gardaí brought two Garda horses from the Mounted Support Unit to visit our school last week. The horses and their riders, Graham Greene and Maria Kenny, came to our junior yard where all of the children were allowed to pet the horses, class by class. (Written by Sarah Alyward and Laura Challoner) We played a camogie tournament on Saturday September 12th in Danesfort. We played four matches and we won them all. We played Kilmacow, Callan, the Village and Dicksboro in the final. We won the cup! We were delighted. When we returned to school, the team brought the cup from class to class. It was so much fun.
