(Written by Anna Cass) The Junior Liffey Decent is a huge race for kayakers. We started the race at the Salmon Leap Canoe Club in Co. Kildare. We kayaked 11.5 Km, over 4 weirs and 1 portage to finish over an hour later at Chapelizod in Dublin. I was the first home in the Under 15’s girls’ category.
Ms O’ Connor’s 4th class put on a fantastic fashion show exhibiting fashion down through the ages. The children wore clothing from the Roman era, the medieval period, the 1920’s, the 1950’s, the hippy 60’s and the colourful 80’s. Check out the photos below.
