Credit Union School Quiz, January 10th 2023

On the night of January 10th, there was a Credit Union School Quiz in the Community Hall in Thomastown. There were 14 different teams; 6 in the U-11 category and 8 in the U-13. There were schools from Thomastown, Ballyhale, Bennettsbridge and Goran present.

There were 10 rounds of 6 questions in the U-11 group and 12 rounds of 6 question in the U-13 group. The winning U-11 team were from Thomastown. The members of the team were Holly, Rachel, Robbie and Shane. They scored 50 points on the night! The runners up, Bennettsbridge, came one point behind. The team will now go on and represent the school in an all Kilkenny competition. Well done and the very best of luck to the team!
