Last month we celebrated a very special Grandparents’ Day at St. Mary’s NS, filled with love, laughter, and precious memories.
The day began with a beautiful Mass for the children and grandparents of 3rd class (Ms. Scott’s, Ms. O’Conor’s, and Ms. Kelly’s classes), celebrated by Fr. Dan. It was a heart-warming service that highlighted the importance of grandparents in our lives.
After Mass, everyone gathered in the school hall for a lovely cup of tea and delicious cakes. Following this, grandparents/parents/aunties/uncles and siblings, were warmly welcomed into the classrooms, where they had the chance to meet the teacher and admire the wonderful stories, poems, and cards the children had created just for them.
It was truly a special day, and we are so grateful to everyone who made it so memorable. Thank you to all the those who joined us—we loved having you!
