I (David Holden) battled hard to get through to the final, which I won against Michael Brennan of Clogh. It was a great day for me.

(Written by Rory Connellan) It was on Sunday 11th of January in the Watershed that two Thomastown teams played in the under 12 county blitz. Twenty-three teams played. The girls were Sarah, Laurie, Isabelle and Anna who won the ‘A’ section. The boys were Luke Connellan, Luke Skehan, Rory and Evin who were runners up in the ‘A’ section. We had a great day!
December has been an incredibly busy month at St Mary’s with children and teachers doing Christmas art, practising and performing poems, plays and Christmas carols. ‘Journeys’ the book is about the journey our ‘Per Cent for Art’ stone made from the quarry, where a 7 tonne block of Kilkenny limestone was removed from the quarry bed, and was taken to McKeon Stoneyard in Stradbally, Co.
