Ms O’ Connor’s 4th class put on a fantastic fashion show exhibiting fashion down through the ages. The children wore clothing from the Roman era, the medieval period, the 1920’s, the 1950’s, the hippy 60’s and the colourful 80’s. Check out the photos below. Last Friday, 26th January, a number of children from St Mary’s competed in the Cumann na mBunscoil handball championships in O’ Loughlin’s Kilkenny and were very successful too! The St. Mary’s under 11 team beat Clara in the final of the Roinn A hurling league on Wednesday, June 14th at Larchfield. After a long season in which the boys went undefeated, they took home the cup in style with a strong win over a very fine Clara team.
