This week at St Mary’s, we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge in true Irish style with a fantastic ceolchoirm le ceol traidisiúnta! The whole school gathered to enjoy the magic of traditional Irish music, played by our talented musicians:
Mick Tobin on the bodhrán
John Cullen on the banjo and fiddle
Jim Murphy & Ken Welsh on the accordions/music boxes
The energy in the room was electric as lively jigs and reels filled the air, setting the perfect scene for some incredible Irish dancing. A huge well done to Taylor, Illiana, Amelia, and Erin, who amazed us all with their skill and grace on the dance floor!
It was a wonderful way to celebrate our Irish culture and language.
